Jerah Milligan is a multi-hyphenate storyteller who blends bold comedy with emotional depth. A D.C. native, Jerah is an actor, director, writer, and producer whose work spans Netflix, HBO, Showtime, and more.
He co-created and starred in Astronomy Club, Netflix’s first all-Black sketch show, and recently directed the sketch segments for Yvonne Orji’s acclaimed HBO special A Whole Me. In 2024, Jerah developed an original pilot with FOX, a feature for Tubi, and a comedy feature now in development at Hartbeat. He’s currently directing a digital series for Staple View and has helmed shoots for Billboard featuring Offset, Cynthia Erivo, and more. An alum of the Viacom Viewfinder Emerging Directors Program, Jerah brings a collaborative, actor-friendly approach to every set.
His credits include Desus & Mero (Showtime) and a pilot for HBO Max, and he’s trained at UCB, Groundlings, and The PIT. In front of the camera, Jerah has appeared in Black Mirror, Broad City, Blue Bloods, and Apple TV+’s Helpsters.
He also co-hosts Black Men Can’t Jump in Hollywood, a podcast championing representation in film and TV. Jerah is repped by Innovative Artists and Odenkirk Provissiero.
