Clare McConnell is a Canadian Screen Award nominated actor/comedian best known for portraying Klingon Leader ‘Dennas’ on the Paramount+ series Star Trek: Discovery and ‘Effie Newsome’ on CBC’s Murdoch Mysteries. Recent credits include a leading role on AMC’s Slasher and a supporting role opposite Jeremy Alan White in feature film Fingernails.
She voices Iana in Ubisoft’s Rainbow 6: Siege and Clarice in Supermassive Games’ House of Ashes. She is also a Canadian Comedy Award nominated alumna of the Second City Mainstage.
