The New Faces of Comedy showcases have been a launch pad for so many of today’s most celebrated comedians. For over twenty years, it has been the most highly anticipated and impactful industry showcase, and an unmissable part of the Montreal Festival.
This year’s series will take place from Wednesday, July 24 – Saturday July 27, 2024. The showcases serve as a catalyst for emerging talent’s careers, opening doors to new opportunities, representation, and industry recognition. Just For Laughs are proud to continue to shine a spotlight on the brightest comedy stars of tomorrow.

New Faces Characters showcases the best new character comedians in North America.

NEW FACES OF COMEDY UNREPPED
NEW FACES UNREPPED
New Faces UNREPPED highlights up-and-coming stand-up comedians who are currently “unrepped” (do not have an agent or manager representing them in the industry).
Comedians can be located anywhere in the United States. If selected, you will be invited to perform at the festival, which is held in Montreal the last week of July. To be considered, please submit using this link. Via the link, you’ll be asked to submit:
1. ONE VIDEO LINK - You should submit your best and strongest 5 to 7 minute unedited stand-up set.
2. You’ll be asked to let us know where you are based.
3. You’ll confirm that you are “unrepped.”
The deadline to submit is April 26th. Submissions prior to the deadline are welcome!

New Faces International is returning in 2024 to showcase more of the most exciting new talent from around the world. Please note that New Faces International is not open to submissions from comedians from Canada or the United States.

How to make a submission for New Faces International 2024
- Please complete the submission form for yourself (your client) which can be found here.
- Please note that the preferred format for the submission clip is an unlisted YouTube video. Vimeo or Google Drive also works.
- Please ensure that the link is NOT password protected. We will not download any material such as via WeTransfer.
- Please ensure that the audio and video is of adequate quality.
- There are no content restrictions – send us a set that is indicative of your best work.
- Please note that due to the volume of submissions we receive, you will only be contacted should we like to further enquire about your act.
- Submissions will close April 30th, successful applicants will be contacted after this date.
- The show dates will be the week of July 22-27, 2024 (exact dates TBD).
