Executive Producer, Writer – Family Guy

Danny Smith is a Writer and Executive Producer for the animated series Family Guy. Hired by Seth Macfarlane in June of 1998, Mr. Smith has written countless gags, stories, and memorable Family Guy moments, and also several musical numbers, including “Prom Night Dumpster Baby”, “Christmas Time Is Killing Us”, and “My Drunken Irish Dad”. He has also performed many voices on the show, including The Giant Chicken, The Evil Monkey, The Salesman, Al Harrington, and “Announcer #2”. Smith began his television career as a writer for Head of the Class, and worked for several network sitcoms, such as Nurses, Platypus Man, In The House, The Parent ‘Hood, Soul Man, Yes Dear, and Third Rock From The Sun. He also performed at The Groundlings and for performed stand-up comedy before finally landing his first network writing job. Having performed in “Family Guy Live” back in 2007, Mr. Smith is thrilled to be back in Montreal, in spite of the fact that he is a die-hard Boston Bruins fan who still sees frightening images of Guy LaFleur, Larry Robinson and Ken Dryden in horrible, recurring nightmares.
