Originally from Prince Edward Island, Claire appropriately started her career in the musical Anne of Green Gables. Four seasons at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival followed with roles as Miranda (The Tempest), Katherine (Loves Labour’s Lost) and Louise (Carousel). After a stint as Cosette (Les Miserables) and Juliet (Romeo & Juliet), Claire turned her attention to film and television. During 15 years in Los Angeles, she’s worked with the likes of Aaron Sorkin, Tony Shalhoub, Kevin Costner, Hugh Laurie, Denzel Washington and Dick van Dyke. She has over 50 recurring/guest star television roles and some favourite film projects include Molly’s Game, The Swap, One of Our Own, In Quiet Night and Root of the Problem. Recently, Claire originated the role of Cynthia Murphy in the Canadian production of Dear Evan Hansen then joined the US National Tour performing over 400 performances in over 40 cities. Currently she can be seen as Mary on the CBC comedy Son of a Critch.
