EVP, Original Comedy and Animation, WarnerMedia

Suzanna is the EVP of Original Programming, Comedy & Animation for the new WarnerMedia Direct-to-Consumer platform. There she oversees development of projects in the live-action comedy, stand-up special, and adult animation spaces. Most recently, she served as the EVP of Comedy Programming & Development for FOX Entertainment. There she oversaw both live action and animation, including projects NEW GIRL, RAISING HOPE, THE MINDY PROJECT, Emmy Award winner BOB’S BURGERS, Golden Globe winner BROOKLYN NINE-NINE, and the critical darling, THE LAST MAN ON EARTH. Prior to her role in development, Makkos served as a current programming executive at the FOX network, covering comedies such as FAMILY GUY, ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT, THE BERNIE MAC SHOW and MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE, as well as dramas PRISON BREAK and BOSTON PUBLIC.

Before joining FOX, Makkos began her career in development and current programming at Walt Disney Television/Touchstone Television and Regency Television. She graduated cum laude from Southern Methodist University with a bachelor’s degree in American History.
