Rebekka is a comedian who has served as a writer, actor, director and producer on various comedic projects. She can currently be seen on the hit Netflix show, GLOW, as Dawn Rivecca, Ethel Rosenblatt and Ozone. Johnson, with her co-stars, was nominated for a 2018 SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series for the show’s first season. Additional credits for Johnson include: “Arrested Development” for Netflix, “This Is Forty” for Universal Pictures, and directing/producing several viral YouTube sketches, “Typecast” and “What if Catcalls Were Cheeseburgers,” as well as sketches for College Humor. For four years she served as writer/director for Made Man’s critically acclaimed series “Speakeasy with Paul F. Tompkins” (Defy Media). Rebekka is also well known for being one third of the critically acclaimed comedy trio, The Apple Sisters (ECNY Best Musical Act, NYIT Outstanding Original Music). Her award-winning short film, “Consent: a short comedy about a serious subject” is on the festival circuit now.
