Manager of Comedy Programming & Development, Fox Broadcasting Company

Kristen Schwarz is currently a Manager of Comedy Programming & Development at the Fox Broadcasting Company. In that role, Schwarz is responsible for overseeing creative on live action series including NEW GIRL and Golden Globe-winner BROOKLYN NINE-NINE as well as Emmy Award-winning animated programs BOB’S BURGERS and THE SIMPSONS.

Before joining FOX, Schwarz began her career in development at Pukeko Pictures, a production company affiliated with Peter Jackson’s Weta Workshop in New Zealand. Prior to working in development, she worked on the production staffs of shows including THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS and CBS soap opera, GUIDING LIGHT.

She graduated from Yale University with a bachelor’s degree in Film Studies. She is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio and was raised by parents who thankfully allowed her to watch an unlimited amount of television as a child.
