Rhys James

Rhys James

Rhys's sardonic wit combined with his playful style have made him a firm favourite on the British comedy scene. He's a "master of the lightning-paced, gag-dense, precision-delivered set" (Guardian), as showcased in his six critically acclaimed sell-out solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, along with his three award-nominated series for BBC Radio 4. His comedy special 'Rhys James: Forgives' can be seen on Amazon Prime, and his most recent stand-up show 'Snitch' took him on a nationwide tour of over 70 dates. Rhys is best known as one of the regulars on BBC's topical panel show 'Mock The Week' and headlined the prestigious stand-up show 'Live At The Apollo', as well as appearances on 'A League of Their Own' (Sky), 'Richard Osman's House of Games' (BBC), 'Celebrity Mastermind' (BBC), 'Roast Battle' (Comedy Central), 'Pointless Celebrities' (BBC) and more. Rhys will debut to US audiences as a regular panellist on 'The Great American Joke Off', soon to air on The CW. He currently has a narrative feature in development, as well as developing his radio series 'Rhysearch' for television, but most importantly, Rhys is thrilled to be appearing as part of New Faces.
